About DDFC

The Dalyellup Dockers Football Club (formally the Dalyellup Beach Football Club) was formed in June 2007 and has experienced rapid, yet steady growth. The name was changed in May 2009 to support the clubs affinity with partner Fremantle Football Club and also not to clash with the local soccer club which has a similar name.

AFL AUSKICK

AFL Auskick is where champions begin. It is where boys and girls first pull on the boots and learn their drop punts from their torpedos.
Through skill games, activities and modified match practice participants will learn and familiarise themselves with all the skills required to become the next Nick Riewoldt or Chris Judd.
AFL Auskick is facilitated with the help of parents and volunteers and managed by the community, for the community. The NAB AFL Auskick program is where it all starts. Children from ages 5 to 8 years learn the fundamental skills required to participate in Australian football.
Sessions usually consist of a warm up, followed by skill activities designed to improve and familiarise participants with the necessary skills of the game. Weekly sessions end in a modified game where children can hone their skills in a safe, controlled environment.

AFL JUNIORS

AFL Juniors league offers children aged from 8 to 17 years their first opportunity to join the excitement of a football club environment and gain exposure to an assigned coach.
AFL Junior allows players to experience a variety of positions on the ground from full back to full forward.
Rules of matches are modified so children can continue to develop their skills in an enjoyable, safe atmosphere. There is no minimum kicking distance to mark the ball and the removal of roving positions ensures participants learn the importance of playing to position.
